Group walks are 1 full hour of fun spent at an off leash dog park. Pack walks are done in small groups of 4 to ensure the experience is done safely & every dog gets lots of love & attention. We like to reward all good behaviour out on our adventures using positive reinforcement. We are always practicing recall, sit, stay & other fun tricks. Groups walks are designed for your dog to come sniff, explore & socialise safely. Pick up, drop off, photos & videos of your dog in action are all included.
Weekend group walks are run exactly the same as our weekday group walks except due to weekend hours we only offer the two group walks.
Morning group 8am and mid morning 10am.
Pick up, drop off, photos & videos of your dog in action are all included.
No dog wants to be left at home alone all day. We offer daycare to cater for dogs that are left at home for long periods of time, its also a great option for more high energy dogs who need more than just one group walk. Your dog will get to enjoy their day out in the fresh air, enjoying new surroundings, smells & playing with their friends. We make sure to take some time out to have a lay down & some water. Daycare is roughly 4 hours fun & includes pick up, drop off, photo’s & videos of the day.
Looking for more of a 1-1 experience for your dog? We know group walks aren’t suitable for every dog so we also offer individual walks. Individual walks are a great option for older dogs who may need more of a slow, steady or shorter walk or for dogs that don’t get along well with other dogs so need to be walked solo. They are also a great option for puppies that aren’t quite ready for group walks, if you have a puppy we would love to help out with some puppy training during our 1-1 walks.
Going to be out for most of the day and need someone to pop in and check on your pet? We are here to help. Our house visits include a feed, water refresh, lots of love and cuddles, play and/or a short walk. This service is a great option for puppies that aren’t yet fully vaccinated, older dog’s, cats and any other members of the fur family. If you have a new puppy at home we would be happy to do some fun training with them. As with all our services photos & videos of our visit will be sent over.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Arranging a meet and greet is simple. Fill out our contact us form with as much detail as possible and we will get back to you ASAP. Alternatively you can give us a call, send us a text, a whatsapp message or an email instead. If we are able to help with your enquiry we will arrange a day/time that suits you to come to your home and meet yourself and your dog to talk over your requirements in more detail and run through things like how to access the property etc.
We provide all our services throughout Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Some areas we cover are Bondi, Bondi Junction, Bellevue Hill, Bronte, Clovelly, Randwick, Coogee, Dover Heights & more. If you're unsure if we cover your area please contact us.
We run 3-4 group walks a day Monday-Friday. Group walk times are 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2:30pm. Saturdays we also run an 8am and 10am group.
Group walks are 1 full hour at an off leash dog park plus pick up/drop off time on top. Group walks are usually anywhere between 1.5-2 hours depending on where dogs are on the pick up/drop off route that day. Times may vary week to week depending on the route taken that day, group size, traffic, weather and cancellations.
Mobile doggy daycare is 2 group walks per day. Daycare dogs are always picked up first and usually dropped back last so are usually out for 4 hours or more.
Yes we walk in all weather conditions! Rain or shine you can assure we will be out on our adventures. We will only ever cancel walks in extreme weather conditions such as thunderstorms or extreme heat for the safety of dogs and walker.
Bryony the operator and founder of Bark About Sydney will personally be walking/looking after your dog.
We go to a variety of different parks each day. Some of the parks we walk at are Rodney Reserve, Astrolabe Park, Queens Park and Centennial Parklands.
We try are best to keep dogs as clean as possible while out on our adventure walks but dogs will be dogs so if it has been raining your dog may come home wet and muddy. I always say to owners it completely depends on the dog, if you have a dog that loves mud and puddles and usually gets dirty on your own walks they will most likely be the same on our adventures. If you have a dog that doesn’t like mud, puddles and always says clean they will most likely come home clean. Either way we always try our best to wipe down/dry off all dogs with a towel at the end of each walk.
This is completely up to the client and arrangements are organised with each client individually depending on their preference. We do recommend providing a spare key which we can keep in a safe place and labelled. However many owners like to use lockboxes which we can use to gain access to the key to the house or leave keys in letterboxes or whatever they choose. Alternatively some owners are home when we come to collect dogs for daycare or walks so keys are not needed. Please note if we have come to the property to collect the dog for a walk or other service and no key has been left out for us to gain access to the property to collect the dog the service will still be charged in full.
